Full Bio

John Pacini is a visionary executive across multiple sectors including tech, media, marketing and finance. He is widely known as a pioneer of today’s $30+ billion word-of-mouth marketing industry, with deep expertise in family and health consumer segments. As Managing Director at Ziff Davis’ (NASDAQ: ZD) Everyday Health Group division, John led the 2023 integration of trust-driven creator marketing into flagship brands like BabyCenter, What to Expect and RetailMeNot.

Previously, as CEO of Mom Media, John built the world’s #1 family & health creator trust marketing organization with no outside capital, reaching over 500 million unique consumers and engineered its sale to Ziff Davis, forging partnerships with Unilever, P&G, Kia, Best Buy, GSK and the U.S. Government.

Earlier in his career, he was an Operating Partner in a private equity firm, amassing a large and highly successful portfolio of digital businesses and monetization platforms. He also co-founded TriTaur, launching one of the first SaaS tech platforms connecting brands with family consumers, and also led key fundraising and M&A deals for that company.

Prior to that, John had completed his first acquisition selling a FinTech company to John Hancock (NYSE: JHF), after which he served Hancock as Managing Director. John delivered this Fortune 200 company a 4X revenue growth in three years in an award-winning leadership role. Notably, John was at the time the youngest Managing Director in the company’s 140-year history.

John also has a strong background in the public and nonprofit sectors. He began his career as a Legislative Director in the Texas House of Representatives, where he was instrumental in the passage of welfare reform legislation, and advised then-Governor and future US President George W. Bush on key legislative issues. In the nonprofit sector, John has served on the boards of multiple nonprofit organizations, including Crisis Intervention (a United Way agency), and the NYU Alumni Association.
